FREE “Carried For a Moment” Cross Stitch Pattern

Life can be hard at times. And the joy and excitement of carrying a precious child can sometimes be cut short. This cross stitch pattern, “Carried for a Moment”, is a special one. It was created to honour the memory of our grandson, Abel, who was carried for only 19 weeks, but will be loved and remembered for a lifetime. I hope this is a gift that I can pass on to anyone who has experienced this type of heartbreak, as well.

The pattern comes with a pink foot and a blue foot, which can be changed to both pink or both blue, if desired. A blue butterfly is a common symbol for miscarriage. The colour of any of the wording can be changed, along with the colour of the heart itself, if preferred. The heart can be stitched with a Temperature Stitch design (using colours to record the temperatures of each day that Baby was carried – contact us if you’d like to know how). We have also included a separate PDF pattern with the lettering used on the design.
